Condolences

Condolence From: Jan Brouillard Young
Condolence: I am devestated learning about Karen's passing. Karen and I were childhood friends. Though we did not see each other often we shared cards and phone calls at Christmas and on our birthdays. Being only three weeks apart for the past 47 years we called each other on our birthdays and laughed about how old we were. It saddens me that we will not be celebrating our 60th birthday together. We were so close. I loved her like a sister. She was the kind, funny and a wonderful friend. Bobby and Michael may you find peace in you heart knowing how much she loved you and how happy she must be reunited with her Mom and Dad. Kar I'll miss you till the end of time.

Condolence: There are so many memories I have with Karen. One of my favorites is of Karen singing the 80's song "I Know What Boys Like". It was always funny when she blurted out "Girl Fight" whenever we (clerical ladies) were pretending to argue or disagree with one another. I always loved her hinting by giving me mail for "mean girl training". Karen was always kind and I appreciate her kindness towards the students especially my children. You will be missed. Bobby - just know that you were your mom's sunshine & rainbows. I saw her at her happiest, when you got married. RIP Karen - God bless you & your family.

Condolence: Karen will forever be in my heart. We worked together for many years. She always came into my office with a big smile. She certainly made the days go by fast. She was a very kind & thoughtful lady who put others' needs before hers. We had many good times together- going out to lunch & visiting the casino, etc. She was a true friend who could make your day better just by being who she was.
Bobby, you were her "special son" & her eyes always lit up with love when she talked about you.She was a great Mom.
Now she will be looking down on us.
Karen,I will miss.you dearly & think of you often. May you rest in piece.

Condolence: I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart is heavy. Karen was a good friend to me. We shared. Any many laughs. We had great road trips to the casino, which she never forgot & we still laugh about. We used to laugh so much at work, it made the day go by faster. She was always gentle & kind & so caring of others no matter how she was feeling, she always asked how you were feeling. I have so many memories of driving to the casino with her & how we laughed from the moment we left until the time we got back. She was a strong woman and so very proud of Bobby. He was truly the light of her life. I will miss her every day. Walking in to our office will never be the same. She will always be remembered for her huge heart, her warm smile & her sense of humor. I miss you Karen. Please save me a seat next to you at the penny slots! And I know you’re going to be wearing your birthday tiara! Love you Kar-Kar! With love - your Me-Me❤️ Rest In Peace my friend Never forgotten - forever loved

Condolence: I will miss hearing Karen's voice making announcements at Kaynor (she always took her time). I will miss her warm presence in the main office. She always welcomed me with a piece of hard card (she kept a bag full of candies). She just knew how to sweeten up people's day. I'm so sorry for your loss.
